CUSTECH Approves 2026/27 Academic Calendar, Sets Nov 1–10 for Late Registration

The Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, Kogi State, has released its approved academic calendar for the 2026/2027 session and set November 1 to 10, 2026, for late registration by students who miss the October 31 deadline.

According to the calender issued by the office of the Registrar, the first semester will commence on September 28, 2026, with online course registration, revalidation, screening and documentation for newly admitted students, as well as programme and inter-departmental transfers.

The calendar was approved by the University Senate at its 32nd meeting held on September 2, 2026, and covers academic activities for the first and second semesters.

Regular registration will close on October 31, after which students who fail to complete the process will be required to register between November 1 and 10, with a late registration charge of N10,000 only.

The calender further indicates that the matriculation ceremony for the 2026/2027 matriculation ceremony is scheduled for November 11, while first-semester lectures will run until December 18.

First-semester examinations are scheduled for January 25 to February 6, 2027, followed by the semester break.

The second semester will commence on February 22, 2027, with lectures, continuous assessment and revision leading to examinations scheduled to end on June 19.

Students concerned will proceed to SIWES/SWEP activities from June 21 to September 10, 2027.

The Registrar, Mrs Glory Ojochogu Yakubu, urged faculties, departments and units to adhere to the approved academic calendar.

CUSTECH’s management also advised newly admitted and returning students to complete their registration within the stipulated period to avoid the late-registration charge.
