Ogaminana Central Holds Stakeholders Meeting to Strengthen APC Unity

In a significant step to strengthen unity and enhance the base of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adavi Local Government Area, stakeholders in Ogamnana Central have resolved to work together for the progress of the party and the community.

Speaking at a unity meeting held at the Adavi Local Government secretariat in Ogaminana, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Governor, Hon. Ismail Isah, highlighted the significance of the gathering stating that the meeting serves as an opportunity to celebrate the return of the former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello to his homeland as well as marking the first anniversary in office of Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Usman Ododo.

He noted that the event provided an opportunity for stakeholders to reconnect after a long period and discuss ways to strengthen the party’s political base adding that the meeting of stakeholders was a demonstration of the party’s commitment to politics of inclusion which is promoted Governor Ododo.

He expressed optimism that the unity fostered at the meeting would cascade across all the eleven wards in Adavi Local Government Area and strengthening the APC’s political base in the local government area.

He stressed that the meeting served as a platform for uniting all political leaders in the ward under the leadership of the counsellor and all the leaders including former chairman Honourable Joseph Omuya Salami and other key leaders who have come together to be involved in the meeting to promote unity among them and to fashion out ways of promoting the political base of the APC within the Ogamnana central ward.

He emphasized the critical role of Ogamnana Central, describing it as the heartbeat of politics in Adavi Local Government Area of the state. Hon. Isah also commended the government’s efforts in ensuring security and promoting peaceful coexistence, which have created an enabling environment for development in the state.

He expressed optimism on the government’s commitment to deepening security, enhancing social welfare, and advancing infrastructural projects. The NUT Chairman Adavi Local Government, Comrade Salami Anataku lauded the meeting, calling it the first of its kind in bringing together stakeholders from all segments of the ward to celebrate in unity and discuss the achievements of the government.

He expressed gratitude to the former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, for laying a strong foundation for the APC and appreciated the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Usman Ododo for building on the achievements of the Former Governor. Anataku also lauded the special Adviser on Media and publicity to the governor, Hon. Ismail Isah for organizing the stakeholders meeting and prayed he will continue to excel in his role as the spokesperson of the Governor of the state.
