Ododo Pays Tribute to Adaba Brothers’ Legacy in Public Service

Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, has paid a heartfelt tribute to the Adaba brothers, Chief Patrick Adaba and Dr. Tom Adaba, who recently passed away.

During separate condolence visits to their families in Abuja, Governor Ododo acknowledged their outstanding legacy of public service and significant contributions to the development of Kogi State and Nigeria.

Chief Patrick Adaba, the former Deputy Governor of Kogi State, was praised for his selfless service to the government and people of Kogi State, whom he served between 1999 and 2003. Governor Ododo recognized his dedication and commitment to the state’s development.

Dr. Tom Adaba, the pioneer Director-General of the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), was described as a trailblazer whose pioneering role in Nigeria’s broadcasting industry has inspired generations of media practitioners within and outside Nigeria.

His impact on the industry is undeniable, and his legacy will continue to shape the broadcasting sector. Governor Ododo commended the Adaba family for raising two exceptional individuals whose impact and service to the nation remain invaluable and indelible.

The family’s contribution to the development of Kogi State and Nigeria is a testament to their commitment to public service.
