Juventus Revives Osimhen Interest as Transfer Tension Builds

Victor Osimhen’s future remains uncertain as Juventus steps up its pursuit of the Nigerian striker amid a stalled transfer market and fading offers from other suitors.

According to reports from Italy, the Turin giants have intensified contact with the player’s camp in a renewed push to bring him back to Serie A, this time in black and white.

Despite being loaned to Galatasaray last season after a fallout with Napoli over his transfer demands, Osimhen continues to attract high-level interest.

Galatasaray is eager to retain him permanently, while Al-Hilal and Liverpool are also monitoring the situation. However, Juventus appears to be making the most decisive move so far, reportedly seeking to win over the player before negotiating directly with Napoli.

Napoli, aware of the striker’s €75 million release clause, only valid for foreign clubs are under no obligation to let him go cheaply to a domestic rival. Their resistance is made even stronger by the bitter memories of losing Gonzalo Higuaín to Juventus in 2017, a move that still stings among Neapolitan fans and management.

Juventus’ pursuit is further complicated by the presence of Serbian striker Dušan Vlahović, who is reportedly unwilling to leave, despite being seen as a key part of any financial or tactical reshuffle that would accommodate Osimhen. Yet the Bianconeri’s intent remains firm, suggesting that major changes could be considered to secure the Nigerian forward.

It was reported that Juventus’ recent outreach to Osimhen’s entourage was not affected by the sacking of sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli, the man who originally brought Osimhen to Napoli. In fact, the club’s interest has only deepened, as they see him as the centerpiece of their planned rebuild under new leadership.
