Anniversary: Stakeholders Pledge Support for LugardTV

Top government officials in Kogi State have pledged total support for LugardTV, describing the platform as an indispensable avenue for projecting the policies and achievements of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration.

‎The commedation was made during the  LugardTV’s Anniversary Open Week, which commenced with stakeholders’ session at the Government House Press Centre, Lokoja.

‎The Commissioner for Water Resources, Engr. Farouk Yahaya, reaffirmed his ministry’s full backing for the LugardTV, commending its deliberate and professional approach to news production and digital content.

‎He also lauded the efforts of the Special Adviser on Media to the Governor in steering LugardTV’s growth to its current level of excellence.

‎Similarly, the Commissioner for Environment and Ecological Management, Hon. Joseph Olusegun, said the station’s quality output had proven that Kogi State possesses the manpower and resources to deliver effective media services capable of educating and informing the public.

‎He stressed the importance of the media in ensuring that the government’s programmes and achievements are known and supported by the people.

‎The Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Hon. Timothy Ojomah, compared LugardTV to leading international media brands, acknowledging its role in amplifying the achievements of the administration of Governor Ododo.

‎He pledged to sustain collaboration with LugardTV to achieve greater visibility for the ministry’s activities.

‎Also speaking, the Chairman of the Forum of Senior Special Assistants to the Governor, Hon. Joseph Omeiza described LugardTV’s rapid growth within one year as a product of visionary leadership and high professionalism.

‎He identified its dynamic programming and expanding online presence as clear indicators of the station’s readiness to compete on the national stage.

‎On his part, the chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Kogi State Electricity Commission, (KERC), Engineer Ibrahim Abdwaaris represented by the Vice Chairman,  Michael Enema commended LugardTV for keeping the people of the state informed about activities of the state government and promised deeper collaboration between KERC and LugardTV.

‎ Director General of the Kogi State Information Commission Technology Development Agency, Dr. Bashir Tenuche also praised LugardTV for embracing technology in propagating ongoing developments in the state.
