Progressive Governors Commiserate with Gov. Ododo Over Father’s Demise

The Progressive Governors’ Forum has paid a condolence visit to the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, following the death of his father, Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani.

The condolence visit was led by the Chairman of the Forum and Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma.

The delegation which has governors of Lagos, Ekiti, Ondo, Gombe, Cross River, Akwa Ibom and Edo states expressed deep sympathy to Governor Ododo, the Ododo family, and the people of Kogi state over the loss.

Speaking during the visit, Governor Uzodimma described the late Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani as a man who lived a life of humility and service, noting that his values are evident in the leadership style of Governor Ododo.

Governor Ododo, in his remarks, expressed appreciation to his colleagues for standing by him in his moment of grief, describing his late father as a guiding light who instilled in him the values of discipline, service, and respect for humanity.

He prayed for Allah to reward his late father with Aljannah Firdaus and thanked members of the Progressive Governors’ Forum for their solidarity and support for the family in their moment of grief.
