Haaland Nets Twice as Man City Thrash United 3-0 in Derby

‎Manchester City defeated Manchester United 3-0 in the 197th Manchester derby, with Erling Haaland scoring twice and Phil Foden adding another at the Etihad Stadium.

‎Foden opened the scoring in the 18th minute with a header from Jeremy Doku’s cross, before Haaland doubled the lead early in the second half. The Norwegian sealed the win with a cool finish after racing onto Bernardo Silva’s pass.

‎City dominated from the start, with Haaland going close inside the first minute and Doku hitting the post after a brilliant solo run. United rarely threatened, though Bryan Mbuemo forced a fine save from debutant goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

‎The victory continued Haaland’s stunning form, taking his Premier League tally to five goals in five matches and marking his 50th goal in 50 home appearances — a milestone only Alan Shearer reached faster.
