Accorsing to the statement, Rt. Hon. Umar told the people of Lokoja that the major rural roads, including the Jamata – Budon – Kupa – Abugi; the Felele – Agbaja and other roads are already receiving the attention of the present administration.

Rt. Hon. Umar assured the party that 2027 would be a smooth sail for it, in view of the machinery that have been put in place to ensure all parts of the state are touched to give the government every reason to be retained.

He assured various groups, particularly women and youths, business people and others that in the coming days and weeks, the present administration would roll out what he described as some never – been – experienced empowerment programmes, including interest – free loans for market women in the state.

On the presence of the Accountant General, he described her as the mother of the state and then praised her for the way she has been handling her office in a transparent manner.

That transparency, the Speaker said, has earned Kogi a clean bill of health across global rating platforms, making the state a marketable sub – national entity across the world.

He further called on various groups to continue to rally round the present administration to ensure it achieved its development objectives for the state.

The event was attended by the member of the National Assembly representing Lokoja/Kogi Kotonkarfe Federal Constituency, Hon Danladi Suleiman Aguye, the member representing Lokoja I State Constituency, Hon Bin-Ebaiya Shehu Tijjani, the Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area, Hon Abdullahi Adamu and many others.
