The Akuta Women Association Worldwide, a socio-cultural group under the Akuta Clan, has formally endorsed Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, for re-election in 2027.

The endorsement was made during the association’s 18th Anniversary celebration held over the weekend in Okene.

The President General of the Association, Mrs. Victoria Mayaki stated that their decision was driven by Governor Ododo’s numerous achievements, as well as his administration’s recognition of women through empowerment initiatives and inclusive governance.

She highlighted the association’s achievements in women empowerment, educational development, and fostering unity among members of the Akuta clan.
