Tinubu Appoints Hassan Ocholi as TETFund Board of Trustees Member for North Central

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Dr. Hassan Abdulrahman Ocholi as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), representing the North Central geopolitical zone.

Dr. Ocholi, a native of Oganenigwu Ward in Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State, has an extensive experience in public service, administration, scientific research, and policy engagement.

He also holds a PhD in Biological Sciences and several postgraduate qualifications, including a Master of Business Administration (MBA), a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Public Health, and a degree in Peace and Conflict Resolution.

Over the years, Dr. Ocholi has demonstrated a strong commitment to national development through his numerous contributions to research, policy discourse, and grassroots mobilisation initiatives.

President Tinubu congratulated Dr. Ocholi on his appointment and urged him to contribute meaningfully to the implementation of the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

With his diverse professional background and regional representation, Dr. Ocholi is well-positioned to support the strategic mandate of TETFund and advance the development of tertiary education in Nigeria.
