The Vice Chancellor of Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, Prof. Abdulrahman Salawu, has congratulated the government and people of Kogi State on the 35th anniversary of the state’s creation, urging continued support for the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
Salawu made this statement at his office in Osara on Thursday.
He described Kogi’s 35-year journey as one marked by growth and development, commending successive administrations and the people of the state for their contributions to the progress of Kogi state.
He congratulated the people of the state at home and in the diaspora, calling for greater unity and collective efforts to sustain the state’s development and promote its prosperity.
Salawu highlighted the education sector as one of the areas where the state has recorded significant progress, noting that the three state-owned universities have contributed to human capital development and producing graduates for the state and the nation.
He commended Governor Ododo for the remarkable progress recorded under his administration and urged the people of the state to support the government’s efforts to accelerate development.
Salawu also acknowledged the contributions of past leaders to the growth of Kogi State, offering prayers for their continued wellbeing and for the peaceful progress of the state.
