Erling Haaland scored his 65th international goal for Norway, but Portugal secured their second consecutive victory in this season’s Nations League.
Joao Felix opened the scoring for Portugal with his second goal in as many matches before Haaland equalised early in the second half with a close-range finish.
The goal was Haaland’s 22nd in the Nations League, further extending his record as the competition’s all-time leading scorer.
Portugal restored their lead just three minutes later following a costly error by Norway goalkeeper Orjan Nyland. Nyland gifted possession to Goncalo Ramos, who calmly chipped the ball over him to make it 2-1.
Ramos later fired another effort wide after Rafael Leao’s deflected shot struck the crossbar, while VAR subsequently ruled out another Ramos goal for offside following another mistake from Nyland.
Cristiano Ronaldo was an unused substitute as he waits to continue his pursuit of 1,000 career goals. The 41-year-old is currently 21 goals short of reaching the landmark.
Portugal were also without Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes, who missed the match after being left out of the squad due to injury.
