Ododo Inaugurates Tinubu/Ododo Amazons for 2027 Elections

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has inaugurated the Tinubu/Ododo Amazons 2027, a political support group established to mobilise support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Ododo and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony held at the Government House, Lokoja, the governor, represented by the Director General of Protocol, Government House, Suleiman Ibrahim, charged the executives and members of the group to remain committed, united and focused on ensuring victory for President Tinubu, Governor Ododo, and all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.

He reaffirmed commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu, adding that his government accord high priority to all programmes and policies of the federal government.

Governor Ododo assured the group of the state government’s support towards achieving its objectives.

Earlier, the State Coordinator of Tinubu/Ododo Amazons 2027, Rekiya Ibrahim, expressed profound appreciation to Governor Ododo for his support.

She assured the Governor of the group’s readiness to embark on aggressive grassroots mobilisation across the state to secure votes for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, and all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.

Rekiya said the inauguration of the state and local government executives marks the beginning of a strategic journey towards victory in 2027.

She disclosed that the group’s membership cuts across the 21 Local Government Areas of Kogi State, extending to every ward in the state.

Rekiya also expressed gratitude to the Auditor General of Kogi State, Yakubu Okala, the Director General of Protocol, Government House, Suleiman Ibrahim, the Director General, Government House Administration, Shuiabu Usman Oricha and other individuals who contributed to the success of the inauguration.

She assured that the group would intensify grassroots mobilisation as political campaigns commence in the coming months.

Other members of the group commended the administration of Governor Ododo and reaffirms their support for the forthcoming general elections.
