Prof. Ogbo Revives PAAU Fusion FM After Years of Inactivity

The Vice Chancellor of Prince Abubakar Audu University, Prof. Salisu Ogbo Usman, has revived the University’s community radio, Fusion FM, after a five-year hiatus.

The Vice Chancellor disclosed this yesterday through the university’s Public Relations Officer, Mrs Uredo Omale.

According to Prof. Ogbo, the restoration of the station marks another significant milestone in the university’s ongoing transformation agenda, reaffirming the Vice-Chancellor’s commitment to restructuring academic and communication facilities.

He further added that the return of Fusion FM will enhance practical training for students of the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, as well as other related disciplines.

In his response, the Head of the Department of Mass Communication, Dr Onakpa Mohammed Shaibu, also lauded the restoration of the station, calling the Vice Chancellor a “Miracle Worker”, reaffirming Prof. Ogbo’s proactive approach in strengthening key sectors in the University Months after his administration began.
