House of Representatives candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Okene/Ogori-Magongo Federal Constituency, Engr. Sanni Ogembe, has begun his campaign ahead of the 2027 general elections with a homecoming tour across the constituency.
The campaign tour, led by the Kogi State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Engr. Momoh Ezzu, witnessed a massive turnout of party supporters and stakeholders who came out to receive the candidate and demonstrate their support for his aspiration.
During the tour, the APC candidate engaged party members and stakeholders across the constituency, expressing appreciation for the warm reception and the confidence reposed in his candidacy.
He assured the people that their support would not be taken for granted, pledging to provide effective representation and remain committed to the development and interests of the constituency if elected as the representative of the people in 2027.
The event attracted commendation from party stakeholders, who described the reception as a reflection of the growing acceptance of Ogembe’s candidacy by the people.
The stakeholders pledged to work collectively with party members and supporters towards securing victory for the APC in the 2027 general elections.
As part of the tour, Ogembe and members of his entourage also visited the Palace of the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, His Royal Majesty, Alhaji Ahmed Mohammed Anaje to pay homage to the traditional institution and seek blessings and goodwill ahead of the election.
The visit, according to the campaign team, underscored the importance of the traditional institution in promoting peace, unity and development within Ebiraland and beyond.
The campaign tour comes as political activities continue to gather momentum across the country ahead of the 2027 general elections.
