The Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, HRM Dr. Ahmed Tijani Anaje, has cautioned Kogites to be critical of the information they consume and share online regarding the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict.
He warned that much of the digital content being spread online misrepresents the situation and could stir unnecessary local tensions.
The monarch clarified that the conflict is a political struggle for influence, not a religious war as often portrayed.
“Their fighting is not a religious issue, but a power tussle,” he said.
The Ohinoyi advised Kogites not to get emotionally entangled in foreign conflicts they do not fully understand.
“Once we don’t know the beginning of their fight, I urge us all not to take part,” he said.
The royal father urged the people of the state to choose the path of peace and interfaith unity.
“We must pray for them. The killings must stop so that we, too, can live in comfort and without fear,” he said,
He also called for peace and collective spiritual intervention to bring the regional conflict under control.
