The Executive Chairman of Okehi Local Government Area, Hon. Amoka Eneji Monday, on Saturday received the Accountant General of Kogi State, Hajiya Habibat Oyiza Onumoko, PhD, on a Thanksgiving visit to Ihima District.
The visit was aimed at appreciating the massive support and block votes delivered to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo during the last gubernatorial election.
In his remarks, Hon. Amoka described the decision to vote for the APC and Governor Ododo as a wise choice, noting that Ihima District has so far witnessed unprecedented development projects and political appointments since the beginning of the current administration.
“Ihima has recorded projects never before seen in the history of our local government, and our people have been appointed into various positions of responsibility, all because we stood firmly with the APC,” he said.
He commended the Accountant General for her grassroots engagement and commitment to the Governor’s vision, describing her as a “mother” who plays a vital role in supporting the administration’s governance agenda.
The Council Chairman assured Hajiya Habibat Oyiza Onumoko of the district’s continuous support for the APC beyond 2027, declaring that Ihima and Okehi LGA remain strongholds of the ruling party and will not disappoint whenever called upon.
