The Commissioner of Police, Kogi State Police Command, CP Naziru Bello Kankarofi, has intensified security patrols across Kogi State, with particular focus on Lokoja’s urban communities.
As part of the patrol exercise, the CP visited several areas, including Adankolo, Zango, Crusher, Felele, as well as various secondary schools and the Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja.
The tour was aimed at strengthening public confidence and ensuring the safety of residents.
During the visits, he engaged with community leaders, school authorities, and students, reassuring them of the Police Command’s unwavering commitment to their security.
In a further demonstration of accessibility and readiness, the Commissioner shared his personal phone number alongside the command’s emergency line, and also deployed additional security assets to strategic locations across the state.
Communities visited expressed appreciation for the increased police presence and the new security measures. They also pledged their cooperation and support, promising to provide credible information on criminal activities within their neighborhoods to enhance collective security efforts.
CP Kankarofi reaffirmed the Command’s dedication to protecting lives and property across Kogi State, emphasizing his commitment to sustaining a safe and secure environment for all.
