KERC Issues Mini-Grid Permits to Expand Power Access in Underserved Communities

The Kogi State Electricity Regulatory Commission, KERC, has issued permits to mini-grid investors to enhance access to electricity in underserved communities in the state. The beneficiaries include Havewill Energy Limited, Prado Power Limited, Cross Boundary Limited, and Magnificent Gateway Limited. Speaking at the presentation ceremony, the Kogi State Commissioner for Energy and Rural Development, Engr Mohamed Abdulmutalib, congratulated the developers for meeting regulatory standards and demonstrating professionalism in the renewable energy sector.
