Bolaji Idowu, the founder of Harvesters International Christian Centre, has been apprehended by the Nigeria Police Force over allegations of money laundering and involvement in real estate fraud. Idowu, who established the church in 2003, is reportedly under investigation by the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Abuja.
Sources indicate that the pastor, known for organizing the “Next Level Prayer Conference,” was arrested and is currently being interrogated in connection with financial crimes. The investigation focuses on suspected fraudulent activities linked to real estate deals and illicit financial transactions.
The arrest has drawn significant attention, although official statements from the police remain scarce. Neither Josephine Adeh, the spokesperson for the FCT Police Command, nor Muyiwa Adejobi, the Force Public Relations Officer, responded to requests for comments on the matter.
