Vice President Shettima Arrives Lokoja for Governor Ododo’s Anniversary

Vice President Kashim Shettima, representing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, arrived in Lokoja, Kogi State, to celebrate Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s first anniversary in office.

The Vice President led the commissioning of two significant road projects: the 9 km Zone 8 to GYB Road and the 5.5 km Zone 8 to Crusher Road, marking a milestone in the administration’s focus on infrastructure development in the state.

Shettima also attended a town hall meeting held at Muhammadu Buhari Square, where he engaged with stakeholders and residents of Kogi State. The event highlighted Governor Ododo’s achievements over the past year and discussed ongoing plans for the state’s development.

Prominent APC leaders were present to support the occasion, including Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, former Governor Yahaya Bello, former Governor Idris Wada, former Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege, and APC National Chairman Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje. Other dignitaries in attendance included House of Representatives Finance Committee Chairman James Faleke and APC Deputy National Chairman-North Bukar Dalori.
