President Bola Tinubu has forwarded two separate nomination letters to the Senate, requesting the screening and confirmation of Taiwo Oyedele as Minister of State for Finance and Magnus Abe as Chairman of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC). Senate President Godswill Akpabio read both letters during plenary session. Oyedele replaces Dr Doris Uzoka-Anite in the finance ministry.
