This was disclosed in a statement issued on Wednesday and signed by Head of Media and Public Communications and Spokesperson of the Commission, J. Okor Odey. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announced it has registered over 1.5 million candidates for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), with the e-PIN vending deadline set for February 26, 2026. In a statement issued in Abuja, JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Fabian Benjamin, said the sale of e-PINs required for candidates to complete their registration at accredited centres will end at midnight on Thursday, 26 February. The Board clarified that while e-PIN sales close on February 26, candidates who have already obtained their pins will have until February 28, 2026, to finalise their registration.
