Troops of the Nigerian Army have killed four suspected kidnappers, rescued three abducted victims and arrested eight suspects during a series of coordinated security operations across Kogi, Kwara and Plateau states. According to an operational report obtained by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Abuja, troops stationed at the Forward Operating Base in Egbe rescued two victims who were abducted on July 21 at Ruga Mascaru in Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State. The report said the kidnappers fled upon sighting the troops, allowing the victims to be rescued unharmed and reunited with their families.
