Kogi West Comrade Leaders Commend Governor Ododo for Fulfilling Campaign Promises

The Kogi West Comradeship Leadership Forum (KWCLF) has praised Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for delivering on his campaign promises and championing an inclusive development agenda in Kogi State.

The commendation came from Honourable Dare Zachaeus, Chairman of Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area, during a reunion held at the Kabba-Bunu Local Government Secretariat. The event was organized to honor the Auditor General for Local Government, Comrade Yakubu Adabenege, for his dedication to public service.

Honourable Zachaeus expressed his admiration for Comrade Adabenege’s commitment to his role as Auditor General and pledged his continued support for Governor Ododo’s administration. He highlighted the governor’s achievements in advancing the state’s development and applauded the inclusive approach being adopted in various sectors.

The gathering attracted student and youth leaders from across the state, as well as alumni of Okoro Gbede High School, the alma mater of Comrade Adabenege. It served as a platform to celebrate his appointment and contributions to the state and humanity.

In his speech, Adabenege praised former Governor Yahaya Bello for choosing a capable successor in Governor Ododo. He noted the administration’s achievements in critical areas like education, healthcare, agriculture, security, social welfare, and youth and women development. He called for collective efforts from all stakeholders to support the governor’s vision of transforming Kogi State.

Earlier, the Principal of Okoro Gbede High School, Ibitoye Toba, took the opportunity to request support for the school’s challenges, including a shortage of teachers and lack of laboratory equipment. He appealed for urgent intervention to help restore the institution’s reputation as a leading educational center.
