Kogi Governor Mourns Former Deputy Speaker, Hon. Enema Paul

The Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Hon. Enema Paul, a former Deputy Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly. Hon. Paul succumbed to a prolonged illness on Saturday morning.

In a heartfelt statement released by Kingsley Fanwo, the state’s Commissioner for Information and Communications, Governor Ododo described Hon. Paul’s death as a profound loss, not only to his family and Dekina Local Government Area but to the entire state.

Hon. Enema Paul, known for his dedication and service, held several key positions during his political career. He served as the Commissioner for Rural Development, a Deputy Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, and was a sitting member of the Assembly until his untimely demise.

Governor Ododo praised Hon. Paul’s contributions to the state’s progress, describing him as a hardworking, unity-driven, and detribalized leader who championed the vision of a greater Kogi State. His legacy of service and commitment to the people will continue to inspire.

The governor extended his condolences to the family of the late legislator, the people of Dekina Local Government, and the entire Kogi State, urging them to find solace in Hon. Paul’s impactful life and enduring legacy.
