Hajia Sefinat Usman Ododo, First Lady of Kogi State, has extended her heartfelt Christmas wishes to Christians and all residents of the state, emphasizing the season’s message of love, peace, and joy. She urged Kogites to carry these virtues beyond the festivities into their daily lives.

In a statement released on Wednesday, Mrs. Ododo expressed her hope for a prosperous New Year while reflecting on the achievements of the past year, particularly in empowering women, girls, and vulnerable groups. She described these milestones as steps toward a brighter future for Kogi State.

“As we celebrate, I wish you love, peace, and happiness in your homes. May this festive season inspire continued peace and joy beyond the celebrations,” she said. “I also pray for increased opportunities for growth, development, and prosperity as we enter 2025.”

The First Lady called for unity among residents across the state’s three senatorial districts, emphasizing collaboration across sectors to fully harness the benefits of good governance. She stressed the importance of cooperation in fostering development and progress.

Mrs. Ododo also reaffirmed Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s commitment to improving the welfare of Kogites. She outlined key priorities, including quality healthcare, education, infrastructure development, and agricultural expansion to boost the economy and create wealth across the state.
