Yagba East Chairman Honoured by Kogi Civil Defence Corps, Dedicates Recognition to Yagba East People, Commends Governor Ododo’s Security Drive

The Executive Chairman of Yagba East Local Government Area, Hon. (Dr.) Joshua Dare Monday, has received a Letter of Appreciation from the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kogi State Command, in recognition of his outstanding support and partnership towards strengthening security operations in Yagba East and across Kogi State.

The commendation, signed by the State Commandant, Commandant O.E. Aletan, acknowledged Dr. Dare continuous efforts in providing logistics and operational support to the Corps, which have greatly enhanced their capacity to safeguard lives and property within the local government and its environs.

According to the letter, the Command appreciates the Chairman’s proactive leadership and consistent collaboration with security agencies, describing his contributions as vital to maintaining peace, law, and order in Yagba East.

Reacting to the development, Hon. (Dr.) Joshua Dare Monday expressed deep appreciation to the NSCDC for the honour, dedicating the recognition to the entire people of Yagba East for their cooperation, vigilance, and unwavering commitment to community peace and security.

He further commended the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for his exemplary leadership and steadfast commitment to the security of lives and property across the state. Dr. Dare noted that the Governor’s proactive approach and support for security agencies have created an enabling environment for local governments to effectively perform their statutory responsibilities.

The Chairman reaffirmed his administration’s readiness to sustain strong collaboration with all security agencies, assuring that peace and the protection of lives and property will continue to remain his top priorities.

The NSCDC, in its message, expressed appreciation for the Chairman’s unwavering support and pledged continued partnership with the Yagba East Local Government Council in advancing the shared goal of a peaceful and secure Kogi State.
