Trump Inaugurated as 47th U.S. President, Unveils Bold Policy Shifts

Donald Trump was sworn in as the 47th President of the United States on Monday in a ceremony held at the Capitol Rotunda. The event marked his return to the White House with an ambitious agenda focused on redefining key aspects of U.S. governance and policy.

In his inaugural address, Trump emphasized a commitment to restoring traditional values, declaring that the government would officially recognize only two genders, male and female. He vowed to dismantle diversity policies tied to race and gender, arguing for a unified vision of America that moves away from identity-based priorities in public administration.

On economic policy, Trump outlined plans to boost domestic production through the establishment of an “External Revenue Service.” This agency would impose higher tariffs on foreign imports, aimed at reducing the tax burden on Americans and revitalizing local manufacturing. He also highlighted the importance of the nation’s oil and gas resources in driving economic recovery.

Addressing border security, Trump declared a national emergency at the southern border, pledging to reinstate the “Remain in Mexico” policy. He also promised to designate cartels as foreign terrorist organizations and launch aggressive measures to disrupt their operations, framing border control as a matter of national safety.

Trump further underscored his administration’s focus on healthcare and education reforms, aiming to tackle inefficiencies exposed during recent crises. Additionally, he promised to fight inflation and reduce crime by fostering stronger collaboration between federal and state law enforcement agencies.

Vice President JD Vance was sworn in alongside Trump, heralding a new chapter in U.S. politics. In his concluding remarks, Trump reiterated his vision of making America great again, expressing confidence in his administration’s ability to deliver on its promises.
