In the last one month, the Chief Servant of Kogi State, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, recorded significant milestones that places the state on a pedestal of rapid development.

This edition focuses on the audacious strides of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to lift Kogi State out of its debt burden with the liquidation of the state’s legacy debt overhang which builds on the financial engineering of the immediate past administration that successfully restructured existing liabilities from the bond market and bailout funds from the federal government of Nigeria.

It also documents the administration’s commitment to improve the wellbeing of the people through innovative policies and steps aimed at protecting the environment and enhancing public safety with the restriction on movement of trucks in Lokoja metropolis and plans to establish the state’s climate change agency through executive bills to the Kogi State House of Assembly.

Beyond these, the edition captures a wide range of impactful policies and programmes of the Ododo-led administration that have placed Kogi State on an impressive trajectory of growth and progress within just 15 months in office.
