Lamine Yamal Faces Probe, Possible Fine Over Alleged Exploitation at 18th Birthday Bash

Barcelona football sensation Lamine Yamal is facing intense public scrutiny and a potential fine after reports emerged that his 18th birthday party included the alleged exploitation of individuals with dwarfism and hired women based on physical specifications.

The Spanish government has demanded an investigation into the incident, which has sparked outrage nationwide.

The lavish party, reportedly mafia-themed, was held on July 13 and hosted around 200 guests, including friends, family, and teammates.

According to social media model Claudio Calvo who made the initial allegations, 12 women with a “specific breast size” were allegedly paid to attend the event.

Additionally, the party featured individuals with dwarfism as entertainers an act condemned by disability rights groups.

One such group, the Association of People with Achondroplasia and Other Skeletal Dysplasias (ADEE) has threatened legal action.

In a statement, the association described the event as a violation of human dignity and said it undermines societal efforts to promote equality and respect for people with disabilities.

The Spanish General Director of Disability, Jesús Martín, expressed concern over what he described as a worrying trend of impunity among the wealthy and powerful, calling for ministers to launch a full investigation. Reports suggest Yamal could face a fine of up to £867,000 if found culpable.

“The law is for everyone, the humble and the powerful alike,” he stated

Martín also warned of the influence such behavior could have on Yamal’s large fanbase, particularly among young people.

“Public figures must recognize their role as examples to others. What they normalize becomes acceptable in the eyes of impressionable fans,” he said.

While Yamal or his representatives have yet to issue a public response, the mounting backlash may compel both legal and social consequences.
