The Okun League of Progressive Elites (OLOPE) has intensified its strategic engagements with stakeholders across Kogi State as part of its commitment to champion the re-election of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in 2027.
This was demonstrated through a recent courtesy visits to two key political figures in Ijumu Local Government Area, aimed at galvanizing support for the upcoming voter registration exercise and outlining OLOPE’s roadmap toward the next election.
Speaking during the visits, Director General of OLOPE, Barr. Alfred Bello, noted that the advocacy campaign was designed to unite professionals and grassroots actors behind Governor Ododo’s transformational agenda.
He emphasized the need for early mobilization and strategic partnerships.
“Our aim is to create a unified front that will sustain and amplify the impact of the current administration’s people-oriented policies,” he said.
Bello reaffirmed that OLOPE will continue to rally diverse stakeholders and professionals in support of the shared vision for Kogi State and Nigeria’s progress, under the leadership of Ododo and Tinubu.
In his response, Kogi State Commissioner for Special Duties, Hon. Sunday Faleke, lauded the initiative and pledged his full support.
“I’m ready to work with OLOPE to actualize this noble cause. It is a timely and necessary step to consolidate the gains already recorded by the administration,” he said.
Also speaking, the General Manager of Kogi State Signage and Advertising Agency, Hon. Osaseyi Richard, described OLOPE’s consultations as a welcome development.
He emphasized that such early engagements are important to political stability and regional development.
“OLOPE’s groundwork is essential not only for re-election success but also for Okun land’s broader growth,” he added, assuring the group of his cooperation and encouragement.
