GOV. ODODO WINS GOVERNOR OF THE YEAR AWARD

In recognition of his exceptional leadership and developmental strides, Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, has been named Governor of the Year 2025 by Democracy Newsline Newspaper.

In a statement by the Publisher and CEO of the newspaper, Femi Olugbemi said Governor Ododo’s commitment to public service has not gone unnoticed by members of the public.

His administration’s efforts in infrastructure development, education reform, healthcare development, and upgrade of rural roads were key factors in his selection for the prestigious award.

The statement noted that the governor’s nomination followed a detailed opinion poll conducted by a panel of experts.

He also praised the governor’s consistent payment of salaries and emoluments, highlighting him as a model of responsive governance.

The award will be officially presented this evening at the 15th Public Lecture and Award Ceremony, scheduled to take place at the Banquet Hall of the National Merit House, Maitama, Abuja.
