Ododo’s Spokesman Joins Stakeholders on Mobilisation for CVR in Adavi

Special Adviser on Media to Kogi State Governor, Hon. Ismaila Isah has begun sensitization campaign on the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise in Adavi Local Government Area.

‎Speaking on friday during the exercise, Hon. Isah said the mobilization was part of efforts to sensitize citizens on the importance of obtaining their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of future elections.

‎He emphasized that democracy can only thrive when citizens take part in the electoral process, noting that the PVC remains the strongest tool for making political choices.

‎“The power to choose our leaders and influence governance lies in our PVCs. Today’s mobilization is a call to civic duty and an opportunity for every eligible citizen to make their voices heard and their votes count,” he stated.

‎Former Chairman of Adavi LGA and Special Adviser to the Governor on Security (Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency), Hon. Joseph Salami, commended the initiative, describing it as a clear demonstration of political awakening and grassroots mobilization.

‎“This effort shows that our leaders are serious about civic responsibility. Mobilizing people for voter registration is one of the best ways to strengthen democracy and prepare ahead of elections,” he said.

‎Also speaking, the Special Adviser on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Nasiru Ekunu, lauded the turnout, describing it as a united effort to boost democratic participation in the area.

‎Earlier, Vice Chairman of Adavi LGA, Hon. Hawau Ekuku, hailed the exercise as a sign of unity among political leaders, stressing that the people of Adavi are ready to play their part in nation-building.

‎The exercise which began in Ogaminana Central Ward witnessed the presence of other political leaders and influencers, including Hon. Akoono Shaibu, Hon. Musa Ohiani (Faculty), Hon. Adaviruku Senator, Hon. Yusuf Obadaki and Hon. Hassan Badams, who all pledged continued support for grassroots sensitization on civic engagement
