NYSC Holds Nationwide Passing Out Parade for Batch C Stream II Corps Members in Lokoja

‎The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has conducted the Passing Out Parade for Batch C Stream II corps members nationwide, with Kogi State holding its ceremony at the NYSC Secretariat in Lokoja.

‎The event marked the successful completion of the corps members’ one-year national service, celebrating their contributions to community development, nation-building, and the promotion of unity across the country.

‎Speaking at the ceremony, the Local Government Inspector, Ambassador Ezekiel Otohinoyi, described the outgoing corps members as intelligent, law-abiding, and exemplary in character.

‎He highlighted the Passing Out Parade as his happiest moment as an NYSC official, though mixed with emotions, as the corps members would be departing the state.

‎He commended their discipline, teamwork, and role in fostering national integration.

‎Also speaking, Zeenat Habeeb, a corps member who served at Lugard TV, expressed excitement as she reflected on her service year, describing it as a journey filled with growth and valuable lessons she intends to carry forward.

‎Other corps members described their experience in Kogi State as friendly and memorable, praising the state’s rich culture and hospitality.

‎The corps members expressed hope for better opportunities and pledged to apply the skills and values acquired during the programme to contribute meaningfully to society.
