NGO Lauds Gov. Ododo on Agriculture, Security, Civic Engagement

The Kogi NGOs Network (KONGONET) has commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo on the occasion of his second anniversary in office for his outstanding achievements in agriculture, security, infrastructure, healthcare and civic engagement.

In a statement signed by KONGONET chairman Hamza Aliyu and secretary Reuben Joshua, the group noted that the government’s visible investments in road infrastructure include improved access roads linking farming communities to markets.

The statement also commended the administration for strengthening primary healthcare through new facilities, rehabilitation of existing health centres and sustained partnerships with development agencies.

KONGONET acknowledged progress in agricultural support initiatives and praised the administration’s collaboration with security agencies to protect lives and property.

“The state’s continued participation in the Open Government Partnership was recognized as a strong commitment to inclusive governance”.

The group described these achievements as clear signs of Governor Ododo’s dedication to improving the lives of the people of Kogi State.
