‎Kogi Development Agency Showcases Impact in 75 Communities, 175 Micro Communities

The General Manager of the Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency (KGCSDA), Chief Momoh Dauda, has disclosed that no fewer than 75 communities and 175 micro communities across the state have benefitted from the intervention programmes of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo through the agency.

‎Chief Dauda made this known while featuring on Talktime, a flagship programme on Lugard TV, where he highlighted the administration’s commitment to grassroots development.

‎According to him, the governor’s deliberate investment in community-driven projects is aimed at taking governance closer to the grassroots and ensuring that citizens directly feel the impact of government policies and programmes.

‎He revealed that within the last one year, the agency has successfully executed over 70 community development projects cutting across critical sectors such as access to water Healthcare, and sanitation among others, thereby improving the living conditions of residents in benefiting communities.

‎The General Manager, however, noted that despite the remarkable achievements, the agency continues to face challenges, particularly in the area of partnerships and external support.

‎He stressed the need for collaboration with development partners, private organisations, and well-meaning individuals to complement government efforts in expanding the scope of interventions.

‎Chief Dauda called on stakeholders to key into the agency’s vision by supporting ongoing initiatives, emphasizing that consolidating on the gains already recorded would accelerate sustainable development at the grassroots.

‎He added that collective participation remains vital to ensuring that more communities benefit from impactful projects that enhance socio-economic growth across Kogi State.
