Gov Ododo Says Kogi Ready to Deliver Massive Votes for Tinubu in 2027

Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, has declared that the state remains fully committed to the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.

Governor Ododo made the declaration during the One Million Man Rally for the Re-election of President Tinubu and Governor Ododo in 2027 organised by the Dr. Muyi Aina Support Group at the Muhammadu Buhari Square in Lokoja.

Governor Ododo expressed appreciation to the people of the state for their continued support and loyalty to the administration.

The Governor commended President Tinubu for what he described as bold efforts in rebuilding the nation and repositioning the economy for sustainable growth and national development.

According to him, the people of Kogi State are prepared to reward the President’s commitment to the state with overwhelming votes in 2027.

“We are going to deliver one hundred per cent support to Mr President in Kogi State. This time, the campaign will be issue-based. Nigerians can now see and compare the achievements of the present administration because we can no longer be deceived,” the Governor stated.

Governor Ododo highlighted several ongoing development projects and federal interventions approved for the state under the Tinubu administration, including the revitalisation of the Ajaokuta Steel Company, the establishment of a free trade zone, special agro-processing zone, the development of the state airport and the Abuja-Lokoja-Okene-Auchi-Benin road project, among others.

He noted that the President’s support for Kogi State and the appointment of illustrious sons and daughters of the state into key positions at the federal level further demonstrate the Tinubu’s commitment to inclusive governance.

The Governor assured that Kogi people would reciprocate the gesture through massive votes during the 2027 election.

Convener of the rally, and Executive Director, National Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Dr. Muyi Aina, said the gathering was organised to reaffirm total support for the re-election of President Tinubu and Governor Ododo.

He praised President Tinubu’s leadership and economic reforms, which he said are laying the foundation for a new Nigeria, while also commending Governor Ododo for providing inclusive and people-oriented leadership in the state.

Dr. Aina particularly applauded the Governor’s achievements in healthcare, security, education, infrastructure, agriculture, food security, youth empowerment, economic growth and social stability, noting that the developmental strides of the administration of Governor Ododo have continued to earn public support across the state.

He also highlighted key achievements of the Tinubu administration in critical sectors such as health, education, infrastructure, human capital development and economic transformation as bases for the reelection bid of the President.
