Yahaya Bello Remains Strongest Political Force in Kogi Central — Isah

The Special Adviser on Media to the Kogi State Governor, Ismaila Isah, has described former Governor Yahaya Bello as the most bankable candidate any political party would desire to have on its platform.

Isah made the remark on Tuesday in Lokoja while congratulating the former governor on his victory at the APC primary election held in the state.

According to him, the emergence of Yahaya Bello as the APC candidate remains one of the most exciting outcomes of the party’s primary election in Kogi State, noting that the former governor possesses the ability to inspire party members and galvanize support across the senatorial district.

He stated that Bello’s achievements during his tenure as governor have continued to resonate with the people, describing him as the architect of modern Kogi State whose contributions to governance and development remain unassailable and consequential.

The Governor’s spokesperson further commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and the leadership of the APC in the state for ensuring a level playing ground for all aspirants during the primary election process.

He also urged political stakeholders to emulate the party’s consensus-building model and extensive consultations with aspirants and stakeholders, which he said contributed to one of the most peaceful party primaries witnessed in the state in recent history.

Former Governor Yahaya Bello emerged winner of the APC primary election for Kogi Central Senatorial District after polling 72,339 votes to defeat other aspirants in the contest.
