…..as Former Governor Votes in APC Primaries
Former Governor of Kogi State, and senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi Central, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has described the APC presidential primary election as a clear demonstration of the overwhelming support and confidence Nigerians have in the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The former governor stated this shortly after casting his vote at his polling unit in Okeneba/Agaasa/Ahache/Ward, in Okene Local Government Area of Kogi State during the APC presidential primary election on Saturday.
Bello said the large turnout and enthusiasm shown by party members during the exercise reflect the acceptance of President Tinubu’s leadership and the growing support for the APC across the country.
He maintained that Kogi State remains fully committed to the re-election of President Tinubu, stressing that the state is prepared to mobilize massive support and votes for the President on the platform of the APC.
According to him, the outcome of the exercise in Kogi state clearly showed total backing for the President and his administration.
The former governor commended the people of Kogi State for standing firmly behind President Tinubu and for supporting the policies and programmes of the Federal Government under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
He stated that President Tinubu deserves another term in office, describing him as a courageous, visionary, and determined leader with the capacity to reposition Nigeria for greater development and prosperity.
The Former Governor also highlighted some of the achievements of the Tinubu administration, particularly in areas of road infrastructure which he noted are enhancing connectivity in Kogi State and other parts of the country, stressing that the President’s developmental strides were already yielding positive results nationwide.
