The Kogi State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Engr. Aliyu Momoh Ezzu, has called on residents of Okene/Ogori-Magongo Federal Constituency to mobilize massively behind the party’s candidate for the House of Representatives, Hon. Sanni Ogembe.
The APC Chairman made the call during grand homecoming of the APC candidate which attracted a large gathering of party members, supporters, community leaders and well-wishers in the constituency.
Engr. Ezzu described the homecoming of the APC candidate as a demonstration of the growing confidence and grassroots support for the APC candidate, urging party members and supporters to remain united and focused ahead of the forthcoming election.
He charged eligible voters to guide their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) jealously, stressing that political participation must go beyond rallies and public gatherings.
According to him, voters must not only come out in large numbers to cast their ballots but should also remain vigilant and protect their votes throughout the electoral process.
The APC Chairman further called on all stakeholders, supporters and party faithful to work collectively for the success of all candidates of the party.
Speaking at the event, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Domestic Affairs, Alhaji Kashim Ododo, commended all aspirants who participated in the APC primary, describing them as capable and deserving members of the party.
He, however, noted that Providence had settled on Sanni Ogembe as the party’s flagbearer and urged all members of the APC in the federal constituency to put the primaries behind them and unite for the victory of the party and all its candidates in the 2027 general elections.
He called for a collective effort to deliver the House of Representatives candidate and to also support Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello in his to represent the people of Kogi Central in the Senate.
In his remarks, Hon. Sanni Ogembe expressed appreciation to the APC leadership, supporters and residents who came out to welcome him.
He reaffirmed his commitment to represent the interests of the people of Okene/Ogori-Magongo Federal Constituency and promised to justify their confidence in him.
