The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State has staged a massive solidarity rally in Ejule to demonstrate support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and other APC candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The procession, which attracted a large crowd of APC members and supporters, saw participants take to the streets of Ejule in a show of solidarity for the party and its candidates.
The supporters expressed commitment to work for the re-election of President Tinubu and Governor Ododo, as well as the APC candidates for the National Assembly and State House of Assembly elections.
Speaking with journalists during the procession, the Executive Chairman of Ofu LGA, Musa Muhammed Lawal, commended Governor Ododo for creating an enabling environment for the party to thrive.
Lawal said the large turnout demonstrated the people’s support for the APC, assuring that Ofu LGA would deliver massive votes for President Tinubu and Governor Ododo in the 2027 general elections and the Governorship election respectively.
The APC State House of Assembly candidates, Hon. Isah Emeje for Ofu Constituency and Hon. Mariam Idris for Igala-Ogba Constituency, described the procession as a demonstration of the people’s readiness to support the party.
They expressed confidence in the commitment of the supporters, assuring that the people would deliver victory for all APC candidates, from the presidential election down to the State House of Assembly.
