The Chief Medical Director of the Federal Teaching Hospital, Lokoja, Associate Professor Abdulrahman Shehu, has congratulated the government and people of Kogi State on the 35th anniversary of the creation of the state.
Shehu made this known in a goodwill message issued on behalf of the Management Council and staff of the hospital to mark the state’s anniversary on Thursday.
He described Kogi’s 35-year journey as a significant milestone, expressing optimism that the state would continue to record greater progress and development.
The Chief Medical Director commended the administration of Governor Ododo for the commitment to healthcare, noting that its policies and programmes have strengthened the hospital’s resolve to complement the state government’s efforts toward building a healthier and more resilient Kogi State.
He said the focus of the Ododo administration on healthcare had renewed the hospital’s determination to supporting initiatives aimed at improving the wellbeing of residents.
Shehu congratulated Kogites at home and in the diaspora, expressing confidence in the continued growth and development of the state.
