Kogi State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Engr. Aliyu Momoh Ezzu, has commended members of the Omoye Clan of Ebiraland for their unity and support for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
He also commended the Omoye clan for supporting the senatorial candidature of the former Governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and other candidates of the APC in the 2027 general elections.
Ezzu gave the charge while attending the Mega Endorsement Programme organised by the Omoye Clan, where the group declared its support for President Tinubu, Governor Ododo, former Governor Yahaya Bello, and all APC candidates in Kogi Central.
The APC Chairman commended the Omoye Clan for its strong commitment to the party, describing the endorsement as a clear demonstration of confidence in the leadership and programmes of the APC and the administration of Governor Ododo.
He urged the people of Ebiraland and Kogi Central to sustain their support for the present administration, stressing that unity and collective support are essential to consolidate the gains of the APC government in the state.
Ezzu further called on APC members to intensify grassroots mobilisation and ensure that the party remains strong and united across the state.
He also advised eligible voters to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), stressing that having a PVC is essential for participating in the electoral process and supporting candidates of their choice.
The APC Chairman further urged the appointees of the state government to remain relevant at their respective polling units until the votes are counted and the results are recorded and declared on election day.
He said the focus was not only about securing victory, but on highest number of votes cast to defeat the opposition decisively and discourage them from challenging the outcome in court.
He assured the gathering of the commitment of the APC leadership in Kogi State to inclusive governance, party unity and continued engagement with stakeholders at the grassroots.
Leaders of Omoye Clan reaffirmed commitment to the APC and pledged to mobilise members in support of all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.
