The Kogi State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) will join other chapters across the country in a nationwide roadshow on Saturday to create awareness and mobilise participation for the World Public Relations Forum (WPRF) Abuja 2026.
The Forum is scheduled to hold from November 15 to 21, 2026, in Abuja, bringing together public relations and communication professionals, policymakers, academics, business leaders and other stakeholders from across the world to discuss the future of public relations and strategic communication.
According to a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of NIPR Kogi State Chapter, Bishop Aturu, the Kogi roadshow will bring together NIPR members, government institutions, media organisations, students, youth groups, professional bodies, civil society organisations and other stakeholders.
The exercise, he ssaid, will focus on raising public awareness about the global forum, encouraging registration and participation, enhancing media visibility and mobilising stakeholders ahead of the event.
The statement said key stakeholders, including Ministries, Departments and Agencies, media organisations, security agencies and professional bodies, are expected to support the roadshow through mobilisation, publicity, cultural displays, traffic management, medical assistance and security arrangements.
The Kogi State Chapter called on NIPR members, government institutions, media practitioners, students, youth organisations, professional associations, civil society groups, corporate organisations and members of the public to support and participate in the roadshow.
WPRF Abuja 2026 is being organised by the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management in collaboration with the African Public Relations Association (APRA) and the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).
