National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, has commiserated with the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, at his Abuja residence following the passing of his father, Alhaji Ahmed MomohSanni Ododo.
Ribadu prayed for comfort, strength, and the peaceful repose of the late patriarch, describing the loss as one that goes beyond the Ododo family. He noted that the late Alhaji MomohSanni lived an impactful life and left behind a legacy of enduring values.
The NSA was received by the APC State Chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Bello, the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Alhaji Ali Bello, alongside other senior government officials in the state.
At separate times, the Director-General of the National Pension Commission (PenCom), Ms. Omolola Oloworaran, and the former Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Chief David Onoja, also visited Governor Ododo at his Abuja residence to condole with him.
Ms. Oloworaran, during her condolence visit, described the passing of the late patriarch as a painful loss, praying for the peaceful repose of his soul and for God to grant the Ododo family the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
Similarly, the immediate past Deputy Governor Chief Edward Onoja paid tribute to the late Alhaji MomohSanni, describing him as a man of impact whose values and humility remain worthy of emulation, prayed for God’s comfort on the Ododo family and for the repose of the soul of the departed.
Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, while acknowledging the visits, expressed deep appreciation to Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, Ms. Oloworaran, Chief Onoja, and other sympathisers for standing by his family in their moment of grief.
