Alexander Isak’s Injury Record worried Liverpool.

The recent Liverpool transfer news as reports reveal the club’s initial concerns ahead of their record-breaking Alexander Isak deal.

The Swedish international has not played a match in nearly three and a half months, prompting comments from the former head coach Jon Dahl Tomasson that he would not rush Isak back too soon or “do stupid things” given his lack of fitness.

Liverpool had initial concerns about Alexander Isak’s fitness history, as reported by The Mirror. The club’s medical team thoroughly assessed his past injuries before committing to the significant £125 million investment.

This scrutiny was likely due to Isak’s history of injuries, including issues with his thigh, groin, hamstring, and a broken toe during his time at Newcastle.

The Reds recognizes that, considering the substantial financing in Alexander Isak, they’re unlikely to recoup their costs when the striker ultimately departs the club.

Arne Slot and his team at Liverpool will prioritize getting the best from Alexander Isak during his prime years at Anfield. Their approach involves careful fitness management to minimize injury risks and optimize his performance.
