Former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has expressed his continued support for the Government House media team in their efforts to promote the policies and programs of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration. Bello made the remarks on Friday during a New Year visit by the media team, led by Hon. Ismaila Isah, the Special Adviser on Media to Governor Ododo. The visit took place in Okene, the administrative heart of Kogi Central.

During the meeting, Bello warmly welcomed the media team and conveyed his commitment to the success of their mission. He emphasized the importance of media in shaping public perception and ensuring that the administration’s achievements reach the people effectively. His support, he noted, would extend to all efforts geared towards the promotion of good governance in Kogi State.

Hon. Ismaila Isah, on behalf of the media team, acknowledged the former governor’s leadership and vision, highlighting the positive reception he had received since his return to Kogi Central. Isah reassured Bello that the political family of the former governor, alongside the youth of the state, would continue to stand by him as the key political figure in Kogi State.

Isah also took the opportunity to praise Bello’s leadership, describing him as a key architect of the inclusive governance model that Governor Ododo is now working to consolidate. He underscored that the foundation laid by Bello was crucial for the development and growth that Kogi State continues to experience under the current administration.

In his response, former Governor Bello acknowledged the ongoing efforts of the current administration and emphasized his willingness to collaborate with all stakeholders, including the media team, to ensure the success of Governor Ododo’s policies.
