Rep Member Hails Ododo’s Leadership, Empowers Constituents with Cars, Tractors, Others in Okene

The member representing Okene/Ogori-Magongo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Tijani Muhammed, has praised the developmental strides and leadership style of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, describing his administration as focused, inclusive, and committed to grassroots development.

Hon. Tijani made the remarks over the weekend at an empowerment programme for hundreds of his constituents held at Okengwe in Okene Local Government Area of Kogi State.

The event attracted a large number of constituents, stakeholders, community leaders and members from the House of Representatives.

The lawmaker distributed a wide range of items including cars, tractors, fertilizers, grinding machines, industrial sewing machines, freezers, motorcycles, tricycles, and hair dryers, among others to beneficiaries across the constituency,

He explained that the empowerment programme was designed to provide immediate relief to constituents while laying a solid foundation for economic growth and self-reliance.

According to him, the intervention aligns with his campaign promises to deliver tangible dividends of democracy to the people.

He noted that his constituency projects are strategically tailored to improve livelihoods, stimulate small scale enterprises, and promote sustainable development within the federal constituency.

Hon. Tijani also acknowledged the guidance and mentorship of former Governor Yahaya Bello, whom he commended for his fatherly role and continued support.

Reaffirming his commitment to the current administration, the federal lawmaker pledged unwavering support for the administration of Governor Ododo, assuring that he and his supporters would mobilize fully to ensure the Governor’s continued success and reelection in the 2027 elections.

In separate remarks, the member representing Lokoja/Kogi Koton-Karfe Federal Constituency, Hon. Danladi Aguye described Hon. Tijani as a peaceful, focused, and people-oriented representative dedicated to the welfare of his constituents.

Similarly, Chairman of the House Committee on Ecological Fund and member representing Kaura-Namoda/Birnin-Magaji federal constituency in Zamfara State, Hon. Sani Aminu, commended the empowerment initiative, noting that programmes of such magnitude play a vital role in poverty alleviation and grassroots development.

He urged beneficiaries to make prudent use of the items to enhance their businesses and improve their standard of living.

The lawmaker also received commendations from stakeholders and residents, many of whom expressed gratitude for the intervention and pledged continued support for both the lawmaker and the Kogi State Government under Governor Ododo.
