APC Bariki Ward Pledges Support for Governor Ododo, Celebrates Lead in E-Registration

‎Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bariki Ward, Okene Local Government Area of Kogi State have assured the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of their unwavering support, pledging to work tirelessly toward his re-election in 2027.

‎The assurance was given during a stakeholders’ parley in the ward, where community leaders and party faithful commended the governor’s performance across critical sectors of the state’s economy.

‎A political leader in Bariki ward, Honourable Abdullahi Halidu, commended Governor Ododo for his strides in improving security, healthcare, education, infrastructure development, as well as youth and women inclusion in governance.

‎He noted that the administration’s efforts have positively impacted communities across the state, including Bariki Ward.

‎Halidu revealed that Bariki Ward has emerged as one of the leading wards in the APC membership e-registration exercise, describing the feat as a deliberate step towards mobilizing massive support for the governor’s re-election bid.

‎According to him, the ward recorded a total of 5,848 validation of registered members, surpassing other wards in the local government area to emerge top in the exercise.

‎He expressed appreciation to residents of Bariki Ward for their overwhelming participation and commitment to the party’s growth.

‎He further disclosed that similar enthusiasm was witnessed across Okene Local Government, Kogi Central, and other parts of the state, noting that the impressive turnout reflects the people’s loyalty to the ruling party.

‎Halidu emphasized that the impressive participation of residents in the e-registration exercise reaffirms the APC’s dominance in the area, leaving opposition parties with minimal foothold in Bariki Ward.

‎The stakeholders reiterated their commitment to sustaining grassroots mobilization efforts to ensure continued support for Governor Ododo’s administration and to secure victory for the APC in the 2027 governorship election.
