KOGI Media Adviser Reaffirms Commitment to PR Excellence at NIPR Induction

The Special Adviser on Media to the Governor of Kogi State, Ismaila Isah, on Thursday participated in the 2026 first quarterly induction ceremony of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), held in Abuja, where he joined other professionals in reaffirming their commitment to advancing public relations practice.

The event, presided over by the institute’s President and Chairman of Council, Ike Neliaku, brought together fellows, council members, and newly inducted practitioners from across the country, including participants from Kogi State, highlighting the institute’s ongoing efforts to strengthen professionalism in the industry.

Delivering a goodwill message on behalf of his chapter, Isah reflected on his journey within the institute, recalling his induction in 2009 at the Lagos Airport Hotel after years of involvement as a student member in Kano.

He used the moment to underline the value of dedication and consistency in building a successful communications career.

With nearly three decades of experience, he also recounted key milestones, including his emergence as Best New Talent at the maiden PR Eagle Awards, a recognition that opened doors to several professional opportunities and shaped his growth in the field.

Citing remarks by guest speaker Ini Ememobong, Isah stressed the critical role of public relations in shaping society and guiding practitioners.

He called for sustained commitment to professional standards, mentorship of younger professionals, and collective efforts to further strengthen the practice, while reiterating his resolve to help elevate Kogi State’s presence in Nigeria’s public relations space.
