The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has opened its portal for eligible candidates to print their notification slips ahead of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) mop-up exercise scheduled to hold on June 13.

In a statement issued by the board’s Public Communication Advisor, Fabian Benjamin, JAMB said the notification slips contain essential information, including candidates’ examination centres, dates, time schedules and other guidelines for the conduct of the examination.

According to the board, the mop-up examination is intended for candidates who were unable to sit for the main UTME due to technical difficulties, biometric verification challenges and other approved reasons.

JAMB urged affected candidates to visit its portal and print their slips promptly to confirm their examination details and make adequate preparations ahead of the exercise.

The board noted that the mop-up examination represents the final opportunity for eligible candidates to participate in the 2026 UTME, stressing that no further examination would be conducted after the exercise.

JAMB reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring a transparent and credible examination process, adding that the mop-up exercise is aimed at providing affected candidates with a fair opportunity to secure valid UTME scores for the 2026/2027 admission cycle.

Candidates have also been advised to arrive early at their designated centres and comply with all examination guidelines to ensure a hitch-free exercise.
